UML Use Case Basics

I am a noob at UML Usecase diagrams... as of now. As of the time I am writing this, I am currently studying system development in college and it requires usage of UML Usecase Diagrams. Let's see...

UML Use Case Basics

OK, Use cases have actors. These actors can be people, computers, hardware, companies, systems... but they must be connected to the system somehow. Use cases are done to show how the actors interact with the system. But I have no idea how to draw the diagrams! Time to research.

...

I did some Google Searches and I found that in basic UML Case Diagrams, all actors are represented by a stickman symbol. Even non-human actors. Weird, but... well ok let's proceed.

The processes are represented by ovals. Every process is connected to the actors using that process by straight solid lines...
