Studying 3D and Ubuntu

 
I am currently taking up object-oriented programming using Ubuntu and 3D Modelling and Animation using Lightwave 3D. Quite a challenge for me as I have never used those software before.

Studying 3D and Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a pretty powerful operating system. It has lots of features that most PC users frequently use, like instant-messaging, graphics design, open office and games. And it has the power to compile C++ files too.

Lightwave 3D, on the other hand, is way different from the software I often use to do 3D animation. I use Swift 3D for all my 3D animation and modelling and it is a breeze. But Lightwave's interface is just different. But Lightwave is powerful and can support lots of stuff like complex rendering, shading, ray-tracing and even sky rendering. I believe I will need to spend lots of time learning these stuff.

And my scoliosis treatment is not yet complete. I had my second session last week and will be getting another one next week.
