Scoliosis Vacation

 
Currently (check the date) I am having a scoliosis vacation. What does that mean? Well, for one thing, I am having scoliosis. And this vacation I am taking, is partly to receive treatment for my scoliosis.

Scoliosis Vacation

For those of you who do not know what scoliosis is, it is a health condition affecting the backbone and spinal chord. The backbone is twisted and bent to a certain degree, instead of straight. As a matter of fact, one shoulder would drop slightly downward compared to the other.

I have scoliosis, and my right shoulder is lower than my left. But after my first treatment back in March 2009, the difference between the left and right shoulders were not that great anymore.

Currently, I am having the second treatment and hopefully, this time, my scoliosis will get even better. But what kind of treatment am I getting, you might be wondering. It is not surgery. It is a type of of `adjustment`. It is hard to explain, but I will explain it in the next post, after my treatments, together with some photos.
