Respect is Earned, not given. If you want respect, you have to earn it? Well it is not that simple!Respect Is Earned? Not That SimpleRespect is earned, not given... But then, respect is the hardest thing to earn! Trust me! Sometimes, when you try to gain respect from your actions such as offering help, providing assistance, being nice and so on... you still will NOT get respect.As the old saying goes, "if ur not trying, u'll never succeed". Bbut for respect, even if you try and succeed to earn respect, people will still not respect you. in most cases, they will be nice to you after you think you've earned their respect, but they will still take you for granted, with no respect! It happens..the age old human analogy, old habits die hard. Worse come to worse, you put some senses into their heads, and let them acknowledge ur success. "If u cant beat them, beat them". Now thats funny. It's strange. If you do things for yourself only, they'll say you are selfish and will not respect you. If you do things for others all the time, they will get used to it and take you for granted, as a machine. Still no respect . And when you stop helping them and doing things for them, they will start to be mean towards you and say you are selfish again. But let's view them from our perspective. Always expecting us to serve them every time and at the same time not giving us the respect we deserve... isn't that selfish as well? So who are they to say we are selfish when we stop being Mr. Nice Guy? Not all people are like this but for those who are, we cannot earn their respect no matter how hard you try. So as you said... we beat the respect out of them!! Or, we improve ourselves to the point that when they look at you, they will get the special feeling that you are some kind of Saint, and no matter what you do they will respect you! Referers Info
